  • 摘要:Science fiction is a genre of speculative fiction that generally deals with futuristic concepts such as advanced science and technology, space extrapolation, time travel, parallel universe, extraterrestrial life, and so on. The exposure to science fiction became most evident in the West, where the social transformations caused by the Industrial Revolution first led authors of science fiction to extrapolate the future impact of technology. Science fiction often discovers the potential consequences of scientific theories, social and technological innovations and discoveries as well. So, its exact definition has long been disputed among authors, critics, scholars, and readers. In literature, film, television, web series, and other media, science fiction has become popular and influential over much of the world. Besides, it is providing entertainment, it can also criticize present-day, society and explore alternatives. The following discussion is all about the nuances of writing and reading science fiction for children effectively and efficiently important. This article discusses the importance of science fiction for children or young readership. It will serve to make the readers aware of the nuances of reading and writing science fiction for children.
