摘要:Background: For a future metropolis to be sustainable, energy efficiency must be included into regional and urban planning. Around 40% of overall energy consumption is spent on heating and powering homes. Energy conservation in residential development is an important component of the European climate change strategy since it is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions. Because renewable energy generation is characterized by intermittency, it is necessary to choose and deploy a mix of sources, as well as appropriate energy storage solutions, to maximize the use of available renewable energy resources and ensure supply continuity. Objectives ofthe study: 1. To assess the knowledge regarding renewable solar energy among teachers.2.To assess the perception regarding renewable solar energy among teachers.3. To assess the Attitude regarding renewable solar energy among teachers. Materials and Methods: Present, Teachers' knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes toward sustainable solar energy were evaluated by a descriptive study. 50 subjects were selected based on the inclusion criteria, and non-probability purposive sampling technique. Structured questionnaires were used as tools to collect the data. Results: The goal of this study was to see if teachers were knowledgeable enough about renewable solar energy.Teachers’ responses about their level of knowledge in the form poor, average, good and excellent towards renewable solar energy was 4%, 80%, 14%, and 2%. From this, it can be observed that, 40 Teachers have 50% of Knowledge about renewable solar energy. Teachers’ responses about perception towards renewable solar energy was 2%,6%,22% and 70%. from this, it can be observed that,35 teachers are 70% aware about renewable energy sources and the teachers’ responses about attitude towards renewable solar energy,0%,84%,16%,0%. From this it is observed that, 8 teachers were having 16% level of attitude. Conclusion: According to the data, 4% of teachers had a bad knowledge level, 80% had an average level of knowledge, 14% had a high level of knowledge, and 2% had an exceptional level of knowledge. And 84% of teachers had a poor attitude, 16% had a decent attitude, and 0% had an excellent attitude. Teachers have a low level of perception in 22% of cases, a good level of perception in 6% of cases, and an excellent level of perception in 32% of cases. We found that instructors should increase their understanding of renewable solar energy and adjust their attitudes and perceptions of RSE based on the percentage level.
