  • 摘要:Test anxiety has become one of the most burning issues of modern school education. Academic Achievement of students is very much depending upon the test anxiety. Test anxiety can interfere with the students' ability to perform adequately and prevent students from demonstrating their knowledge on examinations. Some students have the skills and knowledge to do very well in testing situations, but their excessive anxiety impairs their performance. Poor study habits, poor past test performance, and an underlying anxiety problem can all contribute to test anxiety. Fear of failure: If you connect your sense of self-worth to your test scores, the pressure you put on yourself can cause severe test anxiety. Test anxiety is a common occurrence in classrooms, affecting the performance of students from kindergarten through college, as well as adults who must take job- related exams. Research has also documented that high self- esteem plays an important role in academic achievement, social and personal responsibility. Those who have higher academic achievement tend to feel more confident in contrast those who lack confidence in themselves achieve less. Self-esteem is the degree to which students feel satisfied with themselves and feel valuable and worthy of respect. Perceived competence is a belief that one has skills in a particular area.
