  • 摘要:Nonretracting of the prepuce is referred to as phimosis. It's more common in younger children due to adhesions between the prepuce and the glans penis. Pathogenic no retractability is associated with local or urinary problems caused by the phimotic prepuce. Physicians are still having difficulty distinguishing between the two types of phimoses. This misinformation causes unnecessary parental anxiety and leads to erroneous urologist referrals. The majority of treatment for pathologic phimosis was circumcision. Circumcision is gradually becoming obsolete as better, more effective, and safer medical and surgical methods become available. better results with fewer or no side effects are required, parents and clinicians should be informed about non-invasive solutions for pathologic phimosis. To reduce erroneous surgical referrals, medical students should learn how to distinguish between healthy and pathologic phimosis. The foreskin is too tight to be pulled over the penis's head (glans). Phimosis is frequent in babies and toddlers, but can also be the outcome of a scarring skin reaction in older children. Unless it creates symptoms, it is usually not a problem.Phimosis is the inability to remove the constricted penile foreskin or prepuce from behind the glans penis. It's a common issue that parents bring their children to the paediatrician’s office to have addressed. Parents are frequently worried and concerned about their infant or toddler's inability to retract. majority of these cases require surgical intervention, usually in the form of circumcision. Medical records analyses Medically approved circumcisions were seven slightly more common in England and Western Australia higher than the expected frequency of phimosis in child under the age of 15 years, signifying a high percentage of needless circumcisions.
