摘要：Introduction:The most prevalent oral cancer is squamous cell carcinoma.Among a variety of tongue cancers, most occur on the lateral tongue border. Patient history A 53yrs old female was admitted to rural hospital Wardha with The chief complaints are pain in the left side of the tongue for one year, tooth extraction on one side since one month, burning sensation on the tongue, loss of appetite, severe pain on one side, giddiness, changes in voice,nausea,vomiting, weight loss. Clinical findings: history collection, physical examination and routine investigation are done. Medical Management: medical management was provided to the patient, i.e.Tab. Ceftriaxone 200 mg given in twice a day, Tab Diclofenac serratiopeptidase twice a day, Tab Ralemac 20mg, betadine gargle TDS Tab Pan 40mg given orally, inj. Emset4mg given in intravenously and Inj. Augmenting 40mg was given in intravenously. Nursing Management: Medications were provided as per the doctor's order andvital signs checked, chemotherapy given to the patient and nursing care given. Conclusion: Timely diagnosis and prompt treatment are effective in reducing mortality in early cases of tongue malignancy.
