摘要:An academic library is essential for students to learn inside a university. This study investigates university students' perceptions of the impact of the academic library on students' academic performance. The study was descriptive, and the researchers used a survey approach to collect quantitative data. All the registered students of the library at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad were the population. A sample size of 122 respondents was selected, comprising male and female students through the purposive sampling method. A questionnaire developed by the researchers based on a five-point Likert scale was used for data collection. Data were analyzed through SPSS version 24. Frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, Weighted score, ranking order, and correlation were computed. This study reported that the majority of the respondents were agreed that libraries play a vital role in finding information, learning new things, increasing students' knowledge, developing students' habits of selfeducation, helping in completing assignments, beneficial for curricular activities, improving academic performance, student's problem-solving skills, change students' behavior towards education, provide a platform for sharing thinking and have positive effects on students' learning. Moreover, this study discovered a positive impact of the academic library on students' academic performance.
