摘要:Two major events in the twenty first century have made remote working environment the new norm in the corporate world: the COVID-19 pandemic and technological advancement. It reduces the costs involved in maintaining traditional offices and has been an opportunity to create work-life balance. For working mothers, it offers them flexibility to balance their personal and professional commitments. This study aimedto examine the influence of remote working environments on job stress, job satisfaction, and work engagement level of working mothers in IT/ITES sector in India by analyzing the perception of 126 respondents. The findings of the study indicate that remote working environments provide them the opportunity to fulfill family responsibilities, fulfil their professional commitments on time, and maintain better communication, among others. Remote working environments also reduce job stress levels along with enhancing job satisfaction and engagement level of working mothers.
