摘要：By their life experiences the guardians have understood the value of education. So they have no ambiguity regarding sending their children to school. But in this age of competition every parent wants their child to have the best learning in the class. And parents often have disagreements regarding where this „best learning‟ would be met. Choosing a good school is one of the vital steps for parents in order to have quality education for their children. So it is up to the parents to choose the school whether public, private or religious. Some parents even find it difficult to comprehend a good school. They tend to send their children to the nearest school whether public or private. There are some differences regarding choosing a good school amid the guardians of Kalyani and Nakashipara. The parents at Kalyani like private schools more than government schools. But it is completely contrary to the belief regarding the parents at Nakashipara i.e. they like government schools more than private ones. The object of this research paper is to find outwhich type of school do the parents like and why do they do so?.
