摘要:Generally, poverty is defined as one of the conditions in which a person does not have sufficient property or income to meet the necessities of daily living. In a simple sense, poverty is usually equated with the problem of lack of money for oneself or for one's family. This poverty can occur in two situations where the first situation is a situation of deprivation that occurs not on the will and volition of each poor household. While the second situation is a situation where it occurs due to failure to manage financial resources properly and perfectly which ultimately leads to lack of income to buy basic necessities, low level of education, lack of property, unhealthy body, lack of food and clothing, homelessness comfortable and no job can guarantee survival. For this second situation, it will cause households to be powerless to get out of the cycle of poverty if there is no help and support from the government in providing awareness to the community to manage income sources well and effectively. The problem of poverty for the second category if not controlled it will increase the total poverty rate in Malaysia when combined between the first and second categories and this can threaten the socio-economic stability and future of a country, especially in Malaysia. Therefore, to address the issue, the government has established AKPK which refers to the Credit Counseling and Management Agency established in 2006 under Bank Negara Malaysia. It is part of Bank Negara Malaysia's Financial Sector Master Plan (2000-2010), which focuses on three main products, namely Financial Education, Financial Counseling and Credit Management Program. This writing focuses on Childhood AKPK's financial education products in an effort to eradicate poverty through the Maqasid Shariah Model.
