摘要:—Since, world is preparing the next generation to become successful in terms of Finances or skilling them up for their holistic development.Awell-paying job and professional success have traditionally been linked to degrees and academic excellence. However, changes such as increased globalization, greater job insecurity, the massification of higher education, and the shift to a knowledge economy necessitate graduates having more transferable/soft skills to compete in a similar class profile. Previous Research defines soft skills as necessary for promotion beyond entry-level positions and needed throughout ‘the organizational hierarchy’. Employers frequently blame and criticize higher education institutions for failing to adequately prepare students for today's labor market, citing their lack of soft skills.Policymakers and educators often disproportionately focus on developing foundational skills, such as numeracy or literacy. Even though institutes have attempted to address this issue through the years, advancements in students' development of transferable skills appear to be lacking. In the paper, a survey of graduates from several Delhi-NCR institutions has been conducted to ascertain the value of soft skills training in assisting individuals to increase work experience. Over 93% of those surveyed agreed that soft skills should be made a fundamental part of the educational system, with the majority preferring that training be done between the ages of 11 and above. Most respondents believed that soft skills training helped them not just through the recruitment process but also at their workplace. However, most respondents also felt that soft skills are underrepresented in curriculums and that many academically brilliant students often suffer due to their lack of soft skills.
