摘要:Wadas was one of the villages in Bener District, Purworejo Regency which was rich in agricultural potential. Many residents had adapted their livelihoods through natural resources. The existence of andesite mining as a construction material for the Bener Dam was a disaster because it poses a socio-ecological threat. This study and analyze the case of Wadas and its socio-ecological impacts. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews in the village of Wadas, and literature studies. Sampling by purposive sampling. The researcher analyzed the results descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of interviews, many residents objected to the mining of andesite rocks. Residents worried about the emergence of environmental destruction, loss of livelihood because their land was used as a mine. Wadas Village has an area layout that was prone to erosions. This case was expected to improve the government to consider every development program and coordinate well with the local community.
