摘要：The article raises the issue of the birth of malformed children during the time of a world emergency; how can we culturally deal with this issue? The focus is on malformations (hemimelia) of the lower limbs. The study discusses the cases of three currently or previously active paralympics athletes: O. Pistorius, J. Long, A. Mullins. Our main question is to understand whether the biomedical paradigm is enough for the use of prostheses in amputees and to analyze the validity of an educational support aid to increase the degree of resilience in emergency situations.
