摘要:Social-emotional development comprises the experience of the child, communication, and emotion management, and the ability to establish pleasant and gratifying contacts with others. Especially in kids ready for school, social-emotional evolution plays an important function in children's development. This study aims to find out the'' impact of social-emotional development of 1st and 2 nd -grade learners on their academic success in Rawalpindi’. The correlation research design was used. The sample of 240 respondents was randomly selected from 24 public primary schools. The researcher used a self-developed questionnaire for the data collection. The finding of the study discovered that: (1) there is a significant and strong positive correlation between social-emotional development and academic success of 1st and 2nd-grade learners; (2) there is a significant and positive correlation between social-emotional development and prosocial behavior ; (3) there is a significant and positive correlation between social-emotional development and interpersonal relationship; (4) there is a significant and positive correlation between interpersonal relationships and academic success; and (5) there is a significant and positive correlation between prosocial behavior and academic success.
