摘要:The study was conducted to investigate the effect of teachers’ work-family conflict on their job commitment. The study was quantitative in nature and a survey technique was used. The population of the study comprised teachers of public schools in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The researchers used a convenient sampling technique to collect the data. Among the 36 districts of Punjab, District Okara was conveniently selected. The data were collected through a personal visit from 176 male and 271 female teachers of primary, elementary, and secondary schools using two questionnaires, viz Work-family conflict scale and job commitment scale. The findings of the study suggested that work-family conflict has an effect on teachers’ job commitment but this relationship seems to be too weak. The researchers recommended that a study may be carried out to explore this weak relationship.
