  • 摘要:Purpose of Research: This study aims to examine the leadership performance of leaders in an effective teacher evaluation system in schools that includes those that are designed as standardized or modernized by existing appraisal standards. Methodology: Mixed methods approach was used. Questionnaires and interviews were employed as investigation tools to gather data. Respondents included 375 [75 heads+ 300 teachers; 25 heads+100 teachers Higher; 25 heads+100 teachers High; 25 heads+100 teachers Primary] of school from Mianwali district in Punjab, who represented all three levels of school: secondary, tertiary and primary school. Results: The data were carefully analyzed to understand correlation between variables and to discern emerging themes. The results showed large correlation of the instructional leadership of heads with the performance of teachers and teachers’ performance with student academic achievement. In addition, the results revealed that management activities at higher, high and primary schools include optimism, instituting vibrant potentials, checking of knowledge by observation, and arranging for skilled improvement prospects based on requirements of teachers. Moreover, research shows that leaders are relying on academic leadership practices that are relevant to the needs of each school level. The findings also show that, in practice, leaders are using the teacher assessment process as a basis for improving quality education and enlightening student performance at all levels. Application of the Research: Moreover, it can be said that this project will have an impact on future research in the field of leadership performance. This work will also highlight the important opportunity for historical research on teacher evaluation system in schools to further impact learners’ academic achievement. Novelty/Originality of the research: Past research has necessarily investigated similar topics. However, none of the past research approached the topic through the mixed methods approach. Thus, this research (by studying the problem through the mixed methods research leadership performance, teacher evaluation system and students’ academic achievement is unique.
