摘要：This study has been designed to evaluate some expected synthesized metal complexes with some amino acids as antitumor agent. The metal complexes that were synthesized in this study were Fe (II) with Arg, Zn (II) with Arg, Cu (II) with Arg, Cu (II) with Gly, Fe (II) with His and Zn (II) with His. All of these metal complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, X-Ray diffraction pattern, Mass spectra, Atomic absorption and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The cytotoxicity effect was examined by MTT assay against cancer cell line. The result show Zn (II) with Arg has the more potency against tumor cell line then Fe (II) with His and last was Cu (II) with Arg. Overall; these findings have proved that synthesized complexes could be potent anti- cancer cell line in vitro.
