标题:Weaving Words To Create Vows: Exploring Mediating Role Of Trust And Self-Efficacy In Relation Of Motivational Language Of The Leader With Organizational Outcomes
摘要:There is an inextricable link between motivation and leadership, as leaders as motivating words pave the way for better followership and organizational outcomes. This study aims to explain the role of motivational language of the leaders in creating consistency in the employees to remain in the organization by initiating organizational trust as a mediating path. Moreover, this study explains the role of motivational language in instigating resilience among the employees by creating self-efficacy in them. Methodology: With positivist philosophy, a quantitative approach is taken, and data has been collected from 572 employees of private banks working in Pakistan on the adopted instruments through survey method. Structural Equation Modeling was applied to test the multipath regression in the hypothesized model. Results: The results revealed there is a positive impact of the motivational language of the leaders on employees’ intention to stay with full mediation of organizational trust. It also revealed that there is a positive impact of motivational language of the leader on employee resilience with full mediation of self-efficacy. Implication: This research recommends the management of the corporate sector to initiate training of their leaders with motivation orientation and inculcate direction giving, meaningmaking and empathetic language and behavior in them to tackle the critical issues like turn over and lack of resilience among employees. Originality: The study takes the relation of resilience, trust, and self-efficacy with motivational language in the context of corporate employees of Pakistan.
