摘要：Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar a relação entre a saúde mental e as redes sociais significativas dos profissionais da saúde atuantes nas linhas de frente no enfrentamento da COVID-19. Por meio de análise documental de reportagens disponíveis em acesso midiático, articulam-se reflexões nas categorias: a) Saúde mental e sofrimento psíquico; b) Isolamento social e distanciamento das redes sociais significativas e; c) Estratégias de cuidado. Apesar da recomendação referente ao distanciamento social, sabe-se que os laços sociais são protetivos em situações de estresse e medo. Portanto, destacam-se estratégias de fortalecimento das redes, a abertura de espaços de escuta e a manutenção de vínculos.
其他摘要：This study aimed to investigate the relationship between mental health and significant social networks of health professionals which are frontline workers in the COVID-19 scenario. Through documentary analysis of reports available for media access, reflections are articulated in the categories: a) Mental health and psychological suffering; b) Social isolation and distancing from significant social networks and c) Care strategies. Despite the recommendation regarding social distancing, it is known that social ties are protective in situations of stress and fear. Therefore, strategies to strengthen networks, the opening of listening spaces and the maintenance of bonds stand out.
