  • 摘要:Soils provide ecosystem services which promote human well-being. However, educational actions for the popularization of pedological knowledge and the construction of sustainable values are deficient. One of the factors that causes this problem is teacher training. The aim of this research is to analyze the geography educators training for teaching soil in basic education. We evaluated the pedagogical projects of the Geography degree courses in the state of Ceará. The research stages were: literature review, documentary research, data collection, textual analysis and critical analysis. We identified that the curricular arrangements do not adequately provide moments for the development of strategies for the transposition of technical and scientific knowledge for basic education. We suggest expanding the practices that deal with the exercise of teaching work.
