摘要:The importance of strategic management of organizations has been growing steadily in recent decades. Its role in competitiveness of businesses in selected industries, such as the construction industry, seems to be even more significant. The aim of the article is to analyze the selected variables of enhancing competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in construction sector in the Slovak Republic and to propose recommendations of a strategic nature that will increase their competitiveness in the longterm perspective. To achieve the goal, the survey was carried out in 2021 on the group of 150 SMEs in the Slovak Republic.
