  • 摘要:An elastoplastic contact model of two cylinders is proposed in this paper. The crossing angle of two cylinders axes is introduced into the contact model. An analytical solution including the tangential displacement and tangential load under the axis crossing angles is provided. The finite element method is used to verify analytical solutions. The verification result shows that the analytical solution is in good agreement with the simulation result obtained by the finite element analysis. The stress distribution law of the cylinder contact surface is analyzed based on the contact model. The influence of model parameters on tangential mechanical properties is explored. Results show that tangential mechanical properties of the cylinder are governed by many factors, such as the applied load, material properties, and axis crossing angle. Cylinder contact models with different axis crossing angles can be applied to some engineering structures, such as roller bearings and gear meshing.
