摘要：This study aims to identify and analyze the elements of local identity specific to Olcea commune, Bihor County, Romania. This approach is needed in the context of the growing manifestation of two complementary phenomena, regionalization, and globalization. The complementary use of observational, cartographic, analytical, deductive, and historiographical methods led the research to identify the main elements of identity specific to the place, namely : local language, occupations, household as a central element of the rural universe, gastronomy, and traditional dress.
