摘要:This research presents an application to capture production disruptions, e.g. missing parts or machine breakdowns, in the manual assembly of complex products and systems (CoPS). We validate the usability of this application by measuring time performance, potential resulting data accuracy, and user experience. The presented results stem from a single case study. This research conducts 51 usability tests. We show that the presented application has the potential to achieve a level of data accuracy above 97 % and a level of user experience rated as “good” by the user experience questionnaire. The application is now in operational use at a manufacturer of CoPS.
