  • 摘要:This paper proposes a new alternating stage permanent magnet synchronous generator (ASPMSG) that is suitable for helicopter motor applications. The machine topology and the working principle of the ASPMSG are first introduced. The slot-pole matching of the motor is studied according to the application environment and requirements of the motor. In addition, the main structural parameters of the motor, such as the maximum EMF (electromotive force) and the minimum harmonic, are optimized. Finally, the topology optimization method is used to design the lightweight motor, and the optimized mass of the optimized area reaches 68.29% while the output of the ASPMSG is almost unaffected. The simulation results show that the proposed ASPMSG topology has higher power density under the conditions satisfying the application requirements of helicopter motors.
