摘要：Autistic disorder is characterized by our behavior patterns, which are restricted and repetitive with different severity changes, which generates models in the reciprocal social characteristics of behavior, and this pattern of reciprocal social appearance models of behavior, patterns and limited behavior patterns. No scope of dentistry as therapeutic approaches used in the treatment of autistic patients is increasingly indicated in order to provide the best patient care, safely without causing any type of trauma. Thus, the objective was to present a means of narrative difficulty of a review of dentistry found in the treatment of autistic patients and what adjustments can be made at the end of the work in order to make them comfortable. For the elaboration of the narrative research, a literature review was carried out regarding the difficulties faced by the dental professional in the treatment of autistic patients and what adaptations can be made in the service in order to make them comfortable. The bibliographic survey was published between the years 2005 and 2022. The research was carried out in Google databases including Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). For search optimization, the keywords were used: Asperger's Syndrome; Autistic Disorder; Dental caries. The result of the research is that patient care is really complex and requires dental surgery. It is necessary that parents receive instructions on how to take care of their children's hygiene in order to prevent oral diseases from taking hold. It is to perform the care of the autistic patient in the care without causing stress.
