  • 摘要:A review is given on recent studies of behavior of photoelectrons and early stage of latent image formation in AgBr emulsion grains by microwave photoconductivity and Time-of-Flight measurements.1. The capture of photoelectrons by traps on the grain surfaces took place in several tens nanosecond, and the reaction of the captured electrons with interstitial silver ions took place in submicrosecond.2. The recombination of electrons with positive holes did not contribute to the decay of photoelectrons in several nanosecond to several tens microsecond.3. The mobility of electrons in the interior of the grains was much higher than that near grain surfaces, and rather close to that in large crystals.
