摘要：The development of computer technology enables us to access to the vast amount of medical literatures, on the contrary the library routines seem to be not so computerized as we have expected in Japan. Wordprocessor, which is direct outgrowth of computer technology, has greatly faciliated the meeting of various requirements in the office setting. Wordprocessor (Hermes WP-6000 product of CPT Co., U. S. A.) has been introduced into our library since February 1980. We have tried its application to library works. Through our experience we can say that it may add significantly to the efficiency of library procedures such as cataloging the foreign books and acquisition of serials etc.
