摘要：We have developed an LCD driving system that uses motion-adaptive black-insertion-ratio control for displaying high quality motion pictures.In this system,the LCD driving method is switched between a pseudo-impulse driving method,like a CRT,and a hold-type driving method,like a conventional LCD,depending on the input pictures.Using this system,an LCD-TV can display both high quality motion pictures and flicker-free still pictures without excessive power consumption.
