摘要：A homogeneously aligned liquid crystal layer on a substrate film on which it is not necessary to form an alignment film can be fabricated by using a slit coater. The electro-optical performance of TN-LCDs was demonstrated. The surface azimuthal anchoring energy and the mechanism on the surface alignment are discussed.
