  • 摘要:The mixtures of saccharin, dulcin, and cyclohexanesulfamic acid are separated by extraction with ethyl acetate and with ether. Saccharin is precipitated, as the silver salt and the precipitate is dissolved in warm diluted nitric acid and the solution is titrated with ammonium thiocyanate. Dulcin is determined colorimetically, utilizing p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde. Cyclohexanesulfamic acid is deaminated by nitrous acid. The resulting sulfate ion is titrated using barium ion and a standard disodium dihydrogen ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid solution. The proposed method is convenient for routine work.
