摘要：The present document summarizes the achievements of Osaka City Institute of Public Health and Environmental Sciences in the field of water quality examination and water research from ca. 1960 to ca. 1970. The document covers investigative research related to water quality examination, water for industrial use, well water, river water and plant effluent. It contains and emphasizes the research for pollution control of river water in relation to aeration and self-purification.
