Applying the theory of free--running screw propellers in the previous papers (Journal of the Society of Naval Architects of Japan, No. 100 & 101), the influences of various factors on screw propeller characteristics were studied. The effects of blade-outline and blade-area were calculated in this paper, and the results show good accordance with experimental trend.
