In our previous paper, a theoretical equation predicting the air resistance of woven fabrics using basic fabric structural parameters was obtained based on a simple model of a fabric air flow mechanism in which the effects of both the intra-yarn and inter-yarn interstices were taken into consideration. In this paper, the adequacy of the equation was verified by comparison between the predicted and measured air resistance of various kinds of woven fabrics. In addition, the air resistance of multilayers of fabric was measured simulating actual clothing assemblies and these data were compared with the sum of resistance of each fabric layer. As a result, it was found that the addition law could be applied to the air resistance of multilayers.
