Flash photolytic investigations are made on the following systems; diphenylamine, N-phenyl-lnaphthylamine, N-phenyl-2-naphthylamine, indole, 2-methylindole, N, N-dimethylaniline, N, N'-diphenylethylenediamine-tetrabromomethane. On all systems, the absorption spectra and decay of the amine cation radicals are observed. Moreover it is confirmed that the common photoprimary process via exciplex formation, charge separation, dissociation to amine cation radical andtetrabromomethane anion radical takes place. Also the refined reaction mechanisms are presented.
