In the spring of 2003, Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. launched new color reversal films VelvialOOF and ASTIA100F, which achieved the striking features that any other color reversal film has never had before-superior image stability, faithful color reproduction and the highest level of image quality. In this paper, we give a brief review of the state-of-the-art, innovative technologies that make it possible to deliver exceptional color reproduction - MCCL (Multi-Color-Correction Layer) Technology and HTILE (Highly Tuned Inter-Layer Effect) Technology.
