Partial Amendment of Copyright Law passed through the Diet in December 1996. Accordingly the said protective period was finally placed on an equal footing with that of general works only to fructify the long-cherished campaign of the photographic association concerned, which resulted in the 50-year protective period after authors death as well as that in Europe and America.
