We have a great interest in the application of poly (disulfide) film as the substrate for immobilization of functional molecules on the electrode. To develop new immobilization mode, ferrocenyl type thiol compounds were oxidized electrochemically on trithiocyanuric acid (TTCA) polymer film in the acetonitrile solution. And, their immobilization and electrochemical characteristics were evaluated by an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) technique. It was found that the ferrocenyl compound immobilized in TTCA polymer environment showed a good electrochemical stability.
