We developed the camera system that can acquire a high-resolution colorimetric image to reproduce actual scenes accurately. This system is based on color sequential technology consisted of a monochromatic digital camera and three color filters. Furthermore, to improve measurement accuracy, an image data is corrected by using a set of calibration data. The set of calibration data are calculated from color chart optical data measured by using a telespectroscope. We tested the accuracy of the calibrated image data under different illuminants. It was satisfactory result to develop high fidelity imaging system.
