In research concerning memory color of flesh color, it is almost always necessary to obtain a representative value of flesh color of face, for instance, which has area. The mean value of some parts of cheek and forehead or that of the entire face has been mainly used so far. The present study is aiming to suggest a method to determine a representative value based on impression we get from the flesh color. Through a color matching in which the flesh color of an image of the sample possessing flesh color consist of only one hue angle was matched to that of the sample by changing hue angle, parts determining the hue angle were obtained with results that the determining part differs from one sample to another and that hue angle of the part was lower (more reddish) than that of the mean value of whole face.
