    We have proposed a new method to prepare a photographic image with gold particles dispersed in a gelatin layer film using photographic materials. One disadvantage of this process is a long immersion period, about several hours to several ten days. When the ratio of gold ion to SCN- was changed on preparing the gold thiocyanate complex, the rate of gold deposition increased. Size of gold nano-particles did not depend on this ratio, while total mass of gold increased. Excess SCN- ions should inhibit the disproportionation reaction of gold (I) ions to depositing gold atoms and gold (III) ion.
