    The present paper concerns the applications of the finite element crush codes developed in the previous reports to the following problems : (1) Crushing behaviors of toroidal shells under lateral compression (2) Collapse behaviors of circular pipes subjected to concentrated lateral loading The first problem is related to the estimation of the utility of toroidal shells as shock absorbers for radioactive materials' shipping casks, and the second problem is related to the estimation of collision damage of tubular members in steel offshore structures. The numerical results for toroidal shells are compared with the experimental results given in Ref. 5) and it is shown that the existing Rayleigh-Ritz solutions5) are highly improved. The numerical results for circular pipes are compared with the results of experiments conducted by the authors and it is shown that the complicated collapse behavior accompanied with the inelastic local buckling can be successfully simulated by the present numerical procedure.
