This paper presents a study of turbulent flow around 2-D wing section controlled by MHD (magnetohydrodynamic) effect. A CFD (computational fluid dynamics) method is used in order to evaluate strengths of an applied electric and magnetic fields. A turbulence model adopted here is modified κ-ε model in which the MHD effect is included. In order to compute a turbulent flow around a wing section safely, a special treatment for the boundary condition on the wall is proposed. Computational results of non-MHD turbulent flow are compared with those of 0-equation method in order to check the accuracy of the present method. The turbulent flow controlled by MHD effect is then simulated and some discussions on the present method are carried out.
