Using a three dimensional source technique counted in forward speed, the heave and pitch hydrodynamic coefficients of slender ship model are evaluated. The ship model has a length to breadth ratio of 8.0, Lewis form section and block coefficient of 0.5. Matsunaga et al. show its experimental results and numerical works by slender ship theory. Comparisons of the theoretical predictions and experimental results are discussed. The numerical results of three dimensional source technique are the best fit to the experimental ones in comparing with new strip method and Matsunaga's works by slender ship theory. The influence of forward speed upon heave added mass distribution of the model are also discussed by three dimensional source technique.
