摘要：Bilbao constituye un inmejorable laboratorio de investigación para analizar las transformaciones que se produjeron desde el último cuarto del siglo XIX a impulsos del despegue industrial. La quiebra del tradicional sistema económico, la entrada de nuevas formas de producción, la llegada de una oleada masiva de inmigrantes que la ciudad hubo de alojar, son aspectos que han sido ya objeto de estudio y debate. Queda aún por ahondar en otros, tales como los derivados del juego de relaciones que se fueron entretejiendo entre el territorio y la industria en emergencia: organización del espacio interno de la ciudad, modificaciones del paisaje, nuevas áreas con atribuciones y funciones específicas, etc. En este proceso debemos buscar el origen de los desequilibrios territoriales y los conflictos de usos del suelo que han resultado patentes cien años después al quebrarse el modelo industrial en el último cuarto del siglo XX.
其他摘要：Bilbao is a excellent research tool to analize the transformations that took place, starting the last quarter of the 20th century, due to the impulse of the industrial take off. The breakdown of the traditional economic system, the emergence of new ways of producing goods, and the arrival of an impressive flow of immigrants that the city had to acommodate, are some issues that have been a focal point of research and debate. There is still some work to be done, such as those issues related to the interrelation between the territory and the emerging industry: organization of the inner city space, landscape alterations, or new spaces with specific roles. Is in this process where we should look for the origin of the unbalance between different territories and the conflictive uses of the land, which have arisen a hundred years later, just when the industrial system collapsed in the last quarter of the 20th century.
