摘要:Abstract This research paper had as main objective to investigate conceptions of Biological Sciences students on the role they confer both to the teacher and the student during his four years majoring. Data were obtained from the analysis of metaphors which represented those two elements. The analysis is based on metaphors on knowledge and teaching, namely: a product that can be transmitted as something to be constructed and as a net. Data point to the main types of metaphors that students, in their majority, use in their course training process. Some implications are also evidenced about majoring courses.
