This curricular study is exploratory, theoretical and empirical, qualitative approach, constructed from observations, questionnaires, analysis of official documents (such as laws and ordinances), and the reference obtained in articles, journals and books the area of teaching science and mathematics. Moreover, people from academic professional experience contributed directly and indirectly with the development of this work. Perceptions and profile of research participants were gathered from the questionnaire over a semester. In the study it was concluded that the chemical content must be reconsidered for the courses in youth and adults, emphasizing curriculum integration, and the introduction of classes is important to improve the quality of chemistry education. It is pointed out that this study may assist in construction of the political educational institutions of professional education.
