Trata-se de uma problemática que envolve pelo menos três ordens de questões – a questão ontológica da natureza e da identidade da mente; a questão metodológica; a questão epistemológica – e uma série de temas internos tais como os conceitos mentais e as outras consciências. Apesar dos inúmeros avanços científicos, ainda não resolvemos o problema fundamental: que relação existe entre a consciência e a realidade que a circunda. Faz-se um breve excurso histórico da investigação acerca da mente demonstrando os avanços alcançados e percalços enfrentados, avaliando, assim, as possíveis abordagens metodológicas a se adotar na construção de uma “ciência da mente”. Defende-se a tese de que é a partir de uma concepção interdisciplinar que deveríamos examinar a consciência evitando a onda de reducionismo e salvaguardando o caráter subjetivo da experiência. Abstract : The problem of the conscious consciousness of you is the basic point of any human and philosophical search, since it is made a list to You or Self or Identity. It the question is a problematic that wraps at least three orders of questions – the question ontological of the nature and of the identity of the mind; the question methodological; the question epistemological – and a series of internal subjects such as the mental concepts and other consciences. In spite of the countless scientific advancement, we still do not resolve the basic problem: which relation exists between the consciousness and the reality that surrounds it. There is done a short historical excurse of the investigation about the mind demonstrating the reached advancements and faced difficulties, valuing, so, the possible methodological approaches to be adopted in the construction of a “science of the mind”. The theory is defended of what is from an interdisciplinary conception which we should examine the consciousness avoided to wave of reductionism and safeguarded the subjective character of the experience.
