摘要：Diego de Cuentas es uno de los pintores más reconocidos de la Guadalajara del siglo xviii. Este artículo aporta noticias sobre él y su familia a partir de un documento encontrado en el Archivo de la Real Audiencia de esa capital, donde se informa del litigio que el nieto del pintor sostuvo contra su tío a causa de la venta de una casa, y donde se descubre la dinámica de trabajo de los pintores coloniales y, en especial, de su familia.
其他摘要：Diego de Cuentas is one of the best known painters of eighteenth-century Guadalajara. This article provides data about the artist and his family derived from a document found in the Archives of the Real Audiencia de Guadalajara. Information contained in litigation by the painter’s grandson against his uncle over the sale of a house sheds light on the dynamics of the work of colonial painters in general and of this family in particular.
