摘要：Resumo: Biopolítica, mídia e auto-ajuda: segredo ou sintoma? As relações entre mídia e biopolítica tem sido bastante exploradas, sobretudo no que toca à atuação na agenda de mundo feita pela mídia informativa. Neste texto apresentamos a síntese das relações entre mídia e representação pública da ciência, falando de uma das linhas da subjetividade contemporânea como sendo a do “ indivíduo somático”, resultado da pesquisa que fizemos com o apoio do CNPq, e de uma segunda forma, mais insidiosa, que aparece como a relação complementar entre o novo homem empreendedor de si mesmo e a indústria midiática de auto-ajuda, especialmente na sua versão literária.
其他摘要：The relationship between media and biopolitics has been examined exhaustively, above all insofar as it concerns the world agenda-setting established by the information media. In this paper we present two complementary aspects. The first is a synthesis of the connection between media and the public representation of science, in which we identify one of the lines of contemporary subjectivity as that of the “somatic individual,” which is a result of our research funded by CNPq (Brazil). The second aspect, more subtle, is the complementary relationship between man as his own entrepreneur and the mediatic industry of self-help, particularly in its literary version.
