摘要：José Jiménez Lozano played an essential role in the birth of the Las Edades del Hombre (the Ages of Man) exhibition both through his friendship with José Velicia, the exhibition’s creator, and his profound and detailed knowledge of the art and culture that shaped the exhibition series. This contribution can be documented by tracking his publications prior to the project and through interviews with some of the people involved in setting it up. Particular emphasis is given here to an unpublished document that served as a presentation and shows clearly Jiménez Lozano’s particular style. The structure of the results is narrated taking José Jiménez Lozano’s words from his writings or lectures, or studies on him as anchor points. His writing allows us to delve into the keys that have made these exhibitions a great cultural reference.
